«Berkeley» is a high-bush blueberry. This cultivar was transferred to industrial production in 1949.
Bush height – 1.8—2.1 metres, much branched with large pale green leaves.
Berries ripen from the second decade of August.
Regular harvest – 4-8 kilograms from a bush.
Berries range in size 18 millimeters in diameter of light blue color with a small hilum and pleasant sweet taste. Berries do not crack but after full maturity is prone to shattering.
The cultivar «Berkeley» blueberry has an average frost resistance and good decorative qualities for hedges.
